And then there were two! We’re excited to welcome Digital Chaos to ESL One Genting as the second direct invite to our first ESL One tournament of the season. The TI6 second place finishers will join the already confirmed Fnatic squad in the Genting Highlands Resort, Malaysia from January 6th-8th.
With the Boston Major taking place just before Christmas break, this will be the first chance to see Digital Chaos in action in the wake of the first Valve Major of the season. Since their impressive showing at TI6, Team Sunsfan only underwent a single roster change for the offlane position, with Moo making the switch to NA rivals CompLexity and former OG offlaner Moonmeander taking his place. We have yet to see the revamped squad in action, but should they become even stronger than they were in Seattle, we’ll be in for one hell of a show.
For Saksa and Resolut1on, it will be their first ever ESL One appearances while MiSeRy is looking to finally collect his first ESL One trophy in his fourth ESL One showing. So far only Moonmeander had the satisfaction of lifting the cup after OG’s rampant showing at ESL One Frankfurt 2016 and surely he’ll want to add another one to his growing trophy collection.
Are you ready for Digital Chaos to take the stage at ESL One Genting? Then secure yourself a ticket tomorrow, starting on October 21st at 17:00 MYT, when the last remaining tickets go on sale.
